One of the prime destinations for seniors to visit after getting their vaccination is Seychelles. Seychelles is a small nation in the Indian Ocean that’s made up of more than 100 islands. Individuals who are entirely vaccinated and individuals who have previously suffered from the infection are free to visit Iceland. If the travelers can provide proof of vaccination or suffer from a previous infection, they don’t need to provide a negative Covid-19 test result. 

However, they will have to take a test when they arrive in the country. After the test comes back negative, visitors are completely free to travel around Iceland. Those unvaccinated need to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test 72 hours before their departure to Iceland. 

Once they arrive, they’ll be taken to quarantine for five-six days. After the quarantine period is over, they’ll be subject to another test. Once that’s clear, they’re free to travel around the country as they please. It’s important to note that visitors from certain high-risk countries have to stay in government-designated quarantine facilities. 


The Caribbean nation of Belize is now completely open and is present on the eastern coast of Central America. It’s a lovely destination, and visitors need to explore the Caribbean nation. The requirement for all travelers is to bring their official Covid vaccine card to showcase their vaccination status. 

Potential visitors need to showcase that they’ve been vaccinated for a full two weeks and show proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within 96 hours of arrival. It’s also possible for tourists to ask for a Covid test as soon as they reach the airport for $50. 

Once they’ve met those requirements, visitors are free to travel wherever they want. It’s an excellent opportunity to explore the islands and embrace the Caribbean culture.

Madeira Islands, Portugal 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Madeira islands have been among the safest destinations in Europe. It’s one of the most beautiful archipelagos in Europe and has been maintaining essential health measures early to protect its inhabitants. 

It has been one of the few green zones in Europe that features the lowest rates of active cases in all of Europe. In addition, the country has no quarantine requirements for visitors, and all you need to do is present a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours. 


If you enjoy the sun and want to enjoy some of the best cuisines in South America, Ecuador is now open to fully vaccinated individuals. The country has no quarantine requirements for vaccinated travelers. You’ll be free to go wherever you want as soon as you land in the country. 

However, if you want to visit the stunning Galapagos Islands, you’ll need to present a negative Covid-19 test that’s valid 96 hours before arrival. That means you’ll have to take a Covid-19 test while you’re in Ecuador before you travel to the Galapagos Islands. It’s worth taking the test because the islands are stunning!


Another destination that’s now completely open to fully vaccinated citizens of many different countries includes the United States. The only requirement is that they enter the country by air through other approved countries.

Any individual that travels to Georgia via the United Kingdom will need to undertake a 12-day quarantine period. This rule applies to all travelers, even the ones that are fully vaccinated. 


The lovely country of Croatia is now open to fully vaccinated travelers and those who have suffered from a previous infection. Individuals that can showcase a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of arrival. 

Any traveler is also permitted entry inside Croatia if they agree to take a Covid-19 test upon arrival. The travelers must then isolate until they receive a negative test result. Travelers that can’t get a test upon arrival will need to self-isolate for ten days. 

There’s also a list of low-risk countries from where travelers to Croatia don’t have to worry about any restrictions while entering Croatia. As long as the tourists aren’t presenting any symptoms and haven’t been in close contact with someone with an infection. 

Additionally, all tourists need to showcase proof that they’ve made payments for their accommodations beforehand. 


Malta is another country in Europe that’s managed to avoid taking a severe hit from Covid-19. It’s a country with sublime beaches, hiking, beautiful architecture, and religious heritage. The conditions are currently prime to visit one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. 

All tourists need to present a negative Covid-19 test that’s come out negative 72-hours before the departure. Vaccinated travelers don’t need to go through any quarantine upon arrival. On top of all this, the Maltese authorities are incentivizing travelers to visit this summer. 

Guests looking to stay in a 3,4, or 5-star hotel will receive $240 per person. They’ll increase the amount if the travelers are looking to stay on the island of Gozo.
